Ric Ocasek had his only hit outside The Cars with this fragile, lovely ballad that was far removed from anything his group recorded (but then, so was “Drive,” one of the greatest pop songs of the decade). “Emotion In Motion” peaked at #15 in November 1986, and is best remembered for it’s Legend-esque video.
