Anthony Callea was just 21-years-old when he was selected for the final 30 in the second season of Australian Idol in 2004, but didn’t receive enough audience votes to make it past the first round. But thanks to a wildcard from the judges, he was included in the final 12 contestants. That led to a run all the way to the final two, where he lost to Casey Donovan (not the porn star).
But that would be just the beginning of his career.
