An Open Heart
A trait important year-round, but perhaps especially so during the winter, because honestly, the winter months have a way of bringing out the most fragile parts of our hearts. They stir up nostalgia and make us yearn for things from which we thought we’d moved on. They trouble us and sadden us and make us feel a little hopeless.
But find a man with an open heart, and the winter becomes a bit more bearable. It becomes a time of love and, if not love, at least companionship and fondness. It becomes a time of listening and sharing and giving and receiving; put simply, it becomes a time to cherish and enjoy.
