Two teens have been arrested in conjunction with the sadistic murder of a gay man in Sweden.

The unnamed suspects, ages 16 and 19, were reportedly living on the streets of Bergsjon, where they met the victim.

He took them home to the apartment he shared with his partner and offered them food and clothing

According to authorities, the youths filmed their attack, as one of them shouted anti-gay slurs and hit the man while he was on the ground.

At one point, he was dressed in women’s clothing and a dead snake was placed on his body. The victim, 54, was also found with a shirt tied around his wrists.

The 16-year-old suspect, who has been charged with a hate-crime murder, says the victim tried to have sex with him and he only acted in self-defense.

Accused of aiding and abetting, the 19-year-old says he was present but did not participate.

Prosecutor Lotta Nielsen called the incident “a mindless assault and brutal murder.”
