Al Corley starred in the groundbreaking gay role of Steven Carrington on the first two seasons of Dynasty, and left, due in part, to the character’s “shifting sexuality,” and relocated to Europe, where he released his first album Square Rooms. The title track was an enormous hit in France, where it spent five weeks at #1, but on the U.S. chart it petered out at #80 in June 1985.
