Wednesday night’s bloody US premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel included a scene where Matt Bomer and Lady Gaga pick up a flirty young couple at an outdoor movie and take them home for an orgy.
SPOILER ALERT: Things start out very hot and sexy and end up very bloody.
The young guy in the scene was played by Nathan Peterson who chatted with Gay Star News this week about what it was like being naked in bed with Bomer.
‘He’s a very attractive guy – he’s my new man crush,’ Peterson said. ‘He’s so cool, so sweet and down to Earth. Really personable.’
The orgy scene lasted a full three minutes onscreen but took far longer to film.
‘It was an intense scene,’ Peterson said. ‘I was there completely naked, I was nervous as hell. I was kind of like intimidated at first. I’m sitting there, Ryan Murphy directing, Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer were right there. Everybody’s naked. I’m so nervous and all three of those people really, really made me feel so comfortable and so at ease. my nervousness really did go away. I have so much respect for Gaga, Ryan and Matt.’
Peterson filmed the scene over a month ago with Gaga, Bomer and actress Chasty Ballesteros who played his girlfriend.
‘It was shot 360 in a circle bed with the camera going all around – it was very artistic. It’s just amazing.’
Peterson, who lives in Los Angeles, had auditioned a different role the previous season for American Horror Story: Freak Show but did not land it.
‘It all worked out,’ he said. ‘Not one bad thing can be said about that scene or the people I worked with,. It was such a great experience.’
It’s a good thing he was already in great shape.
‘I don’t like gyms. I like sit ups, and pull ups and push ups. I usually just work out alone in the garage. I walk my dog, try and get a little cardio.’
