Airing in syndication from September 4, 1995 – June 18, 2001, Xena: Warrior Princess was a spinoff from Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, but soon surpassed it in terms of popularity and quality. Still iconic twenty years after it debuted, Xena remains one of the greatest action heroes in TV history, with an appropriately majestic opening.
