Vitamin Z formed in Sheffield, England in 1982, eventually touring with Tears For fears on the strength of their debut album Rites Of Passage, and their minor hit “Burning Flame,” which peaked at #80 in the UK and #73 in the U.S in July 1985. It would be their only Billboard entry, and they would disband after their second album in 1989.
