September 1st is National No Rhyme (Nor Reason) Day

September is filled with many reasons to celebrate and some of the celebrations have “no rhyme or reason”.

Actually, National No Rhyme (Nor Reason) Day, which is annually celebrated on September 1, is celebrating words, in the English language, which do not rhyme with any other words.   These are words that poets try to avoid using at the end of a sentence.

For example, they are words such as:

Orange
Month
