Space Beefcake! The 10 Hottest “Star Trek: TNG” Guest Stars

From: The Backlot
It’s been over 20 years since the final episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and if the films were a mixed bag, the series also hit many highs (“The Inner Light”, “Yesterday’s Enterprise”) and lows (“Manhunt”, “Masks”), and mixed in the good (Patrick Stewart), the misunderstood (Dr. Pulaski) and the bad (Starfleet’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Policy, still a serious problem with the franchise).

But the absolute best? The Space Beefcake! TNG had its fair share, and to a young gay boy watching, the show had a way of setting his phaser to … tingle.

Here we present ten examples of the Federation’s Finest. So grab your Dilithium Crystal, and let’s take a trip back in sci-fi time!

Duncan Regehr in “Sub Rosa”

Episode 7.14 “Sub Rosa” is generally regarded as the worst episode of TNG (along with Season Two’s clip show “Shades Of Gray”). Dr. Crusher comes under the spell of a family spirit who … well, let’s just call him a ghostly fuck buddy.

Because he’s played by Canadian actor Duncan Regehr, it’s understandable. He’s been getting the women in Beverly’s family off for generations, and wants to add her notch to his Heavenly Headboard, so he inhabits her body and pleasures her from the inside out. Captain Picard almost walks in at the most inopportune time.

Technically, yes, this episode is awful, and Beverly’s Spirit Orgasms are cringeworthy, but I still have affection for it as one of the most batshit hours of any Trek. And Duncan Regehr (who would later go on to a recurring role on Deep Space Nine) is well-equipped to keep a long line of Irish lasses content.
