We’ll get to what “cryotherapy” is in a second, but first let’s all ogle Derek Hough‘s body shall we?
The Dancing With The Stars pro posted the above photo on Instagram with the caption, “Just finished Cryo therapy, now off to the airport to catch a red eye back to the city that never sleeps. Fitting, seeing as I don’t sleep either. Thank you @drmanningdc @robinben #cryohealthcare.”
Those are some mighty fine abs you’ve got there, Derek Hough.
He’s got to be standing in the ideal position, cause this is what his abs looked like a few weeks. Naked after some cryotherapy, he looks like Alan Bersten.
Now, what is cryotherapy? Allow me to quote their website, “Cryotherapy is the local or general use of low temperatures in medical therapy.” So basically, you get into a chamber and “the body is exposed to ultra-low temperatures (-200 to -240 F). The client is placed in a cryogenic sauna/chamber for a short duration of 1.5-3 minutes which lowers the client’s skin surface temperature significantly and stimulates receptors.”
Apparently people are REALLY into it. Well guys, you do you. I’m not a huge fan of the cold, so I probably won’t be doing it. But if it means that we’ll be getting more practically naked photos of Derek Hough, then I’m all for it.
