The early 90’s sadly saw the last gasp of the 80’s hair bands, before flannel and stinky grunge took over. Giant’s “I’ll See You In My Dreams” tried mightily to keep the power ballad flame alive, but could only manage #20 in June 1990. It’s a shame, and it ranks up there with Cinderella‘s “Nobody’s Fool” and Kiss‘ “Reason To Live” as underrated rock ballads.
