Todrick Hall is back with another twisted musical fairy tale, this time giving Snow White the ratchet remix she always needed with “Snow White and the Seven Thugs.” Though, I do agree with the Evil Queen, as I so often do.
To her credit, this Snow White has some flavor, but I really hoped she would have dropped it low and picked it up like this during her ladylike take on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy.”
However, once as she runs away to the ghetto, Snow White gets in touch with her inner banjee girl, courtesy of the seven thugs: Ashy, Nappy, Touty, Fruity, Musky, Crusty and Dopey. They inevitably start whistling while they twerk before the Evil Queen starts hawking her tainted fruit.
Todrick throws in a bit of a twist ending, stepping in as Snow White’s true love instead of the prince, who is clearly not fooling anyone. And they all lived ratchedly ever after, twerking their lives away. Check out “Snow White and the Seven Thugs” below:
