You can probably guess how happy I was when Grigor Dimitrov destroyed defending champ Andy Murray today at Wimbledon. God, is he talented. Watching some of those ground strokes, though, I couldn't help but wonder if squash isn't his true calling.
I was also pleased Novak Djokovic pulled through, although I'm beginning to wonder why he is so down lately. He's seeded No. 1 and has a really good chance at winning the title again, yet you'd never know it.
What I wasn't expecting was to feel so disappointed when Stan Wawrinka got beaten by Roger Federer. This is a huge opportunity for Roger -- and with Nole hanging his head so, it looks even huger -- but I was kind of hoping the old guard might be almost entirely knocked. Whatever happens from here, though, it will be fun watching.
