As you can see, 27-year-old ice skater Matteo from Milan, Italy is completely at ease in this flamboyant, feathered get-up. Photographer Alessandro Di Giampietro says Matteo is known for his unconventional moves, ‘…skating in an agonistic way’.
The impressive junior national champion, bronze medal winner at the Junior Grand Prix, and eventual contender in the World Junior Championships eventually told his Russian skating partner why he never married, and ran away to the States to do Disney On Ice.
