Breaking The Ice: 7 NHL Hockey Players Who Make Us Melt

With all this talk of gays in professional sports, its important to remember the NHL has been at the forefront of inclusiveness. Every team in the league has a member involved with You Can Play, the nonprofit dedicated to battling homophobia in organized athletics. “Our motto is ‘hockey is for everyone,’ and our partnership with You Can Play certifies that position in a clear and unequivocal way,” said NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman last year. “The official policy of the NHL is one of inclusion on the ice, in our locker rooms and in the stands.”

And it doesn't hurt that so many pro ice hockey players are easy on the eyes. We wouldn't mind being trapped in Frozen‘s icy wasteland with any of these seven skating studs.

Gabriel Landeskog
