Wade Briggs In 'Please Like Me'

 Wade Briggs is an actor, known for Yardbird (2012), Please Like Me (2013) and Epiphany (2010).

Wade Briggs graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2010 and makes his television debut in PLEASE LIKE ME.

In Perth, he appeared in the Black Swan Theatre Company’s production of The Damned. His additional theater credits include K.I.J.E for the Tamarama Rock Surfers and The Real World for the National Play Festival. Wade’s short film credits include Wreckyard, which was officially selected for competition at the Cannes International Film Festival.

 Please Like Me is an Australian television comedy drama series starring Josh Thomas. The series premiered on 28 February 2013 on ABC2 in Australia and had its American debut on Pivot on 1 August 2013. On 26 July 2013, it was announced that Pivot, in association with ABC2, had green-lighted a second season of ten episodes of the show.

Geoffrey is, quite simply, the most attractive man who has ever been interested in spending time with Josh. In his early 20s, he is self-assured, but he's also intense and genuinely weird. Geoffrey is comfortable with his emotions and tends to be a bit earnest and sappy, which annoys Josh no end.

Geoffrey’s not the least bit uneasy about the fact that he’s gay, but by the same token, he's not shouting it from the rooftops, and resents the idea that because he happens to fancy blokes, people make assumptions about his interests based on that.

Geoffrey is possibly way too nice for Josh.
