DIY Leather Daddies : Tom of Finland Cross-Stitch

 Iconic artist Tom of Finland, real name Touko Laaksonen, has been getting a lot of attention this week when it was announced that Finland will issue Tom of Finland postage stamps. Well, if stamp collecting isn't your thing - perhaps you're more of a cross-stitch fan?

Crafters, a sexy new throw pillow is in your future -- suitable for a throw pillow on that spit-fire aunt's couch, or to spruce up your favorite dungeon! Brisbane, Australia design firm Pearler has worked with the Tom of Finland Foundation to create these fully-licensed DIY cross-stitch kits.

Pearler is shopping around for wholesalers, so US crafters may currently have to endure a long flight if they want to get their hands on a kit. They are currently available for sale at The Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art, The National Gallery of Victoria, and Tasmania's Museum of Old and New Art.
