Myles Day 2014, the annual celebration of the life & works of Flann O’Brien, is going to be held, as always, on 1st April (a Tuesday this year), in the Palace Bar on Fleet Street, Dublin.
This is a free event, where dedicated Flannoracs perform for your entertainment, and to maintain the memory of one of Ireland’s true comic genius’s.
Myles Day 2014 is going to be the biggest Myles Day ever. There are over 25 confirmed performances – so many that it is going to be difficult to cram them all into the allocated time.
All the favorites will be there (The Brother, Bores, Catechism of Cliche, Sir Myles, and many, many more), plus other fascinating selections.
Myles Day is an informal event, come and go as you please, and take in as many of the performances as you like.
Myles Day will start at 3:00, and run until 7:30 (or possible a bit later).
But be warned – space is limited, so get there early to avoid disappointment!
If you only attend one Flann O’Brien event this year, make sure it is this one.
