Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Perform on SNL
After a rather slow upward (and sometimes downward) trajectory for "Same Love" on the US chart—up until its 14th week on the Billboard charts, it has yet to crack the Top 40 and has taken some dips—the US audience starts to pay attention. Some of that happens after Macklemore & Ryan Lewis perform their hit "Thrift Shop" on Saturday Night Live on March 2 (it draws 5.8 million viewers), cementing the duo's arrival and giving "Same Love" a lift as well.
