Before she retired and became a minister, Pebbles had three top ten hits in the late 80′s and early 90′s. Her best song “Giving You The Benefit” hit in 1990 and can’t be included here, but “Girlfriend” and “Mercedes Boy” had nice rides up the chart, with ‘Girlfriend” peaking at #5 in 1988. I still say she should have recorded a duet with 80′s pop hunk Dino. It would have been Pebbles & Dino! Get It? Get it?
