Marit Bjørgen (born 21 March 1980 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian cross-country skier and triple olympic champion from Midtre Gauldal, Norway. Bjørgen is the most successful sprinter in Cross-Country World Cup history, with twenty-five victories. She is ranked first in the all-time Cross-Country World Cup rankings with sixty-four individual victories. One of her most notable achievements was becoming the most successful athlete at the 2010 Winter Olympics by winning five medals, including three gold medals.
She is a member of the Rognes IL and is coached by Svein Tore Samdal.

Jessica "Jessie" Diggins (born August 26, 1991) is an American cross country skier from Afton, Minnesota.
She won a gold medal with Kikkan Randall in the team sprint in the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme.

Diggins grew up in Afton, Minnesota, with her mother and father, Debra and Clay Diggins, and sister, Mackenzie Diggins. She attended Stillwater Area High School and was state champion three times with Kris Hansen her coach. In 12th grade she went on a tour to Europe with the CXC team.
