TOP 50 SCI-FI/FANTASY FILMS OF THE 80′S!

Looker
And here we have the greatest HBO mainstay of the 80′s. Looker flopped in theaters, but it went to HBO, and stayed there … forever. Seriously, I think it played at least a couple of times a week for a couple of years, and even though it may not have technically been a great film, it’s ingrained as a permanent part of my youth. And every year I asked for the same thing for Christmas … A Light Ocular-Oriented Kinetic Emotive Responses (LOOKER) Gun … which could hypnotize my enemies, and every year, I got stupid cha-cha heels instead.

And I think every person of a certain age remembers the best thing about Looker … the theme song, performed by Sue Saad (Kim Carnes also had a version on her album Voyeur, one of the best albums of the decade).
