January 19th is Robert E. Lee Day

Robert E. Lee Day is a holiday marking the birthdate of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, observed on the 19th of January each year, on Lee's birthday. Because of the fact he was a Confederate General it is mainly celebrated in the U.S. South, particularly in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi. Due to its time of year, it is sometimes associated with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
