Time Bandits
This was Terry Gilliam‘s breakthrough outside of Monty Python, and featured an all-star cast of mostly British actors, as a kid and a group of dwarves use a time map to visit various historical moments. Its irreverent, fun, and because it’s Terry Gilliam, a visual wonder. And we’ll have another Terry film later.
