Helen Mirren is Morgana. Isn’t that enough? How about early roles for Liam Neesen and Sir Patrick Stewart. Or Lancelot, played by Nicholas Clay, who gave us one of the greatest nude scenes ever in Lady Chatterly’s Lover. John Boorman‘s take on the King Arthur legend did have its problems (some of it is unintentionally hilarious), but it’s a visual mess (and that’s a good thing), and it’s a lot of fun to look for the future stars.
