George Clooney is one of the few actors most known for his red carpet look — his classic, Ian Fleming-approved dapperness. He never messes this up. Ever. In the past 15 years, he’s nailed every red carpet appearance with his sly grin and impeccable tailoring. I chose this photo because he’s one of the few celebrities whose occasional beard growth isn’t annoying. Looks fantastic, actually. Is there a gene in male heartthrobs that makes them want to grow beards at the height of their fame? Or does every straight male celebrity just want to feel like a Beatle?
