"December 1. Thanksgiving is done.  Here in Minnesota there’s this full realization that winter has truly arrived.  The usual temperatures are slowly falling.  Days in the high 30s feel warm. But similarly, it’s a happy surprise to realize, “This is doable.” Summer will be back.  And we’ll appreciate it more fully. Hot men like Neal will wander outside with shirts unbuttoned.  They’ll lay on green grass and read. And in the meantime, we have photos to keep the memories vivid." -- Marlen Boro
