What do a jock gym teacher, a taxidermist, a YouTube sensation, a cat-obsessed social worker, and a “butch sissy tenderqueer” all have in common?
They’ll each be competing for the coveted title of Mr. Transman 2013 tonight at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.
Now in its third year, the Mr. Transman competition features a diverse group of gentlemen who will battle it out on stage in the following five categories: platform, swimsuit, interview, talent and evening wear.
They “female-to-male competition” will be judged by a panel of celebrated queer personalities, who will have a tough decision to make. We have pictures of the contestants and these are some seriously sexy studs.
The winner will not only be crowned Mr. Trans Man 2013, but he will also receive a cash prize, a photo spread in trans culture magazine Original Plumbing, sex toys from Good Vibrations, a Stoli gift bag, and, of course, an enormous custom-made trophy.
