I almost didn’t include this 1985 flop on the list because frankly, Tom Cruise is so horribly miscast it ruins the movie for me. But as inept as Tom is, Tim Curry is absolute perfection as Darkness. That, along with the lovely Mia Sara and Tangerine Dream‘s score means I can’t completely ignore it.
