The primary objective of the New Orleans Firefighter’s Calendar project is to raise the necessary funds to purchase thermal imagers. The function of this equipment is to translate infrared radiation into a viewable image. This allows Firefighters to see through smoke which allows them to get to people, pets and property in the least amount of time. Since 2008, the calendar has raised over $200,000 which directly supports the work of the New Orleans Firefighters
