The cute comedian bares all in this month’s Cosmo for Everyman cancer charity. Time to get to know him a little better..
He’s the opposite to Russell Brand
“I think it’s a different type of attractiveness when someone is funny to when they’re good-looking. And thankfully nerdy and neurotic is sexually appealing to some women otherwise they’d still be masturbating over the internet! But it’s totally different to, say, Russell Brand, who is all manly and sexy, he’s the real thing.”
He needs a calm lady
“A brilliant sense of humor is great in a girl, but I’m not sure I’d want a relationship with a girl who’s just like ‘Hey everybody, look at me! I’m noisy, I’m talking to everyone!’ That would be a disaster; we would drive each other nuts. I need calmness. Because I’m not calm I need someone to ‘earth-me’ if you know what I mean.”
He can’t do rebounds
“I once went on a date with a model and it was a disaster. It was too soon after another relationship had ended and I was still heartbroken. Halfway through the date I’d decided I didn’t like her but I still reluctantly ended up at her hotel room. See guys aren't trained to say no – girls are told that if they’re ever uncomfortable to walk away, but dads never say to their sons to just walk out if a girl wants to have sex with you. So we’re in this hotel room where she decides to feed me champagne through her mouth – nothing disgusting or anything but still, I went into a full on panic attack and choked for about ten minutes. I nearly died! Now that just wouldn't happen to Russell Brand. I bet he doesn’t listen to an audio book, sobbing, after sex.”
Russell Kane (born 19 August 1980) is an English writer, comedian, and actor. He was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, winning the main prize in August 2010. Kane also has a younger brother called James (born 1983).
