Colby Keller as a Merman

Casual. Colby Keller is the subject of art student Cameron Stalheim's thesis project which will see him create a 30 foot long merman sculpture based on Colby's likeness. Which is a heck of a lot of tail for one man to chisel!


A three-dimensional replica of Colby will be made using skin-safe silicone and will then be cast into plastic and transformed into a merman which will then lie in the middle of a gallery floor. The project sounds all kinds of exhausting, but imagine for a moment how utterly amazeballs the final sculpture will look!


Unfortunately though your wackiest fantasy of Colby sans member won't become a reality without backing, which is why Cameron has set up a cute little kickstarter page which explains the project in detail along with the incentives he's offering if you donate towards this uber interesting project.


I wonder if merman Colby will look better than bearded Ariel?
