The Pearl Bailey Show, hosted by the multi-talented songstress Pearl Bailey was a musical variety show lasting only five months. A Cooper-Finkel Company production in association with the Pearl Bailey Production Corporation. Pearl Bailey and her husband, drummer Louis Bellson, conductor of the Orchestra for the show, along with the Robert Sidney Dancers and the Allan Davies Singers performed a variety of musical entertainment. Her guests were a who's who from the entertainment world but tough competition with The Dean Martin Variety Show, The Carol Burnett Show and Laugh-In helped sink Pearl's show.
