From: The Underwear Expert
Now that American Thanksgiving is in the can, we can shift focus to some of the other major holiday festivities happening. The first up is Hanukkah, which preceded Thanksgiving this year, so, we are already in the middle of it. In terms of iconic yet commercial symbols of Hanukkah, dreidels, latkes, the Rugrats Chanukah special, and Adam Sandler may come to mind. Here at The Underwear Expert, we are taking a special interest in the colors that have become associated with holiday because, though dreidel undies may seem like a good idea, we think think there are some slightly less campy ways of having fun with underwear this year.
When we think of the colors of Hanukkah, blue is the most obvious to us. A deep, dark blue that flirts the line between royal and navy is the most ideal. We've thought up some ways to incorporate this into your underwear. First, you can have blue be the contrast color to a white underwear. White is usually a universal holiday color and, besides black, doesn't distract from the contrast color, allowing it to really pop. Another way to incorporate blue is by mixing it with either a gold or silver. Sometimes mixing it with a gray color can have a similar effect, but we feel a touch of metallic can transform the underwear into a more festive look. Lastly, and probably the most obvious, is to go with a basic solid blue underwear.
