50 GREATEST LOST HITS OF THE 90′S!

Martika’s Kitchen
Martika
My favorite Kids, Inc. diva (sorry, Stacey), Martika hit it big with her debut album. It yielded three top 40 hits, including the #1 classic “Toy Soldiers.” She enlisted Prince‘s help to produce her second album, and the first single “Love … Thy Will Be Done” sailed up to #10. But the album flopped, peaking at #111, and the second single and title track, “Martika’s Kitchen” debuted on the Hot 100 at #93 … where it peaked, spending just two weeks on the chart. And that was it for Martika, who would never hit the chart again. She continues to make music independently, but I was shocked her pop career had such a short shelf life.
