The 11 Gayest Wins in MTV Video Music Award History

Kylie Minogue
Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”
Best Choreography
Kylie Minogue demanded across-the-pond credibility with her 2002 video for “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” arguably the Euro-est clip ever to nab a VMA. Not only was it a striking and shiny clip (with Kylie wearing what can only be described as a nightgown with a plunging Mobius strip neckline), but the video’s choreography rightfully earned a win for its robotic, man-machine pseudo-strutting. It’s like Kraftwerk-meets-”Vogue,” and that means part of its appeal is the ferocity of masculine posing. I’ll say it: There’s some Village People credibility lurking here.
