Club Baths: New York City

 The Club Baths in New York City was located at 24 First Avenue in the East Village area of Manhattan. It was one of the biggest and most successful of the Club Baths chain of gay male bathhouses. It was open from 1971-1983. It was featured in the 1973 film A Very Natural Thing. In 1975 it opened a rooftop garden called the Dome. In the 1983 it closed during the AIDS crisis It was soon bought and renovated and became the hotspot Cave Canem opening in 1986.
