See, this is what annoyed me about 90′s pop music. Too many gorgeous singer/songwriters with wild hair singing songs about cats and moving to Mexico. But “Jessie” was one of the better examples, and was a minor hit, peaking at #26 in February, 1994. (Contrary to the rumor that persisted for years, this song was not about Sarah Jessica Parker, who Joshua was seeing at the time.)
