Years ago I tried pulling off a Kakui Nut Lei in an attempt to rebrand myself as a Pacific Islander (to keep people from confusing me for Latino)…but, I needed to be a lot bigger before I could pull off the lei’d look.

I saw this while exploring the Castro. Thick, beautifully cut, light-weight aluminum, and long enough that it laid flat around my neck. Oh, and only $14.
