Color Me Wild:

Parker Hurley Paint Editorial
Following a sneak preview of Gabriel Gastelum’s Parker Hurley paint editorial, we’re thrilled to bring you an exclusive look at the photographer’s selects from the wild, colorful shoot. You may want to throw a tarp down before proceeding, we can’t guarantee these photos won’t leave a mark.
We've seen Gabriel shoot Parker before, and we’re still cuddling up with the results on lazy weekend mornings. This time Gabriel returned to the paint technique he used for the splatter paint shoot with Colby Melvin and Cory Frederick, shot exclusively for The Underwear Expert. In his new editorial with Parker entitled ‘Dancing with the Devil’s Colors,’ Gabriel played off Parker’s own artistic talent as well as the model’s devilish, sexy personality that always comes across in his photos.
For the shoot, Parker stripped down and doused himself in rich colors of thick, shiny paint, which he used to cover his body (and clothing, while he was wearing it). He even practiced a little painting of his own on the white background, producing primal, childlike abstractions that contribute to the unique atmosphere of the shoot.
