Alex Minsky was serving in Afghanistan when a road-side bomb put him in a coma for 47 days and caused him to lose his right leg. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, he was discovered by a photographer at the gym. His new life behind the camera give him new focus, kept him working out and kept him sober.
Since then, the 24-year-old has gotten a lot of tattoos and posed for a bunch of photographers. Inspirational and courageous story notwithstanding, I would still think he was just about the hottest man in the world. Eric Schwabel (who shot my all-time favorite picture of Mitchell Rock, as well as and all kinds of A-list celebs) shot this photo of the gorgeous Minsky:

For the record, I have no reason to believe he would ever do porn, but I can dream. Thankfully lots of his photos leave little to the imagination, including this picture by Michael Stokes which was pulled by Facebook for violating their nudity policy
