Fruit of the Loom and Jockey Compete for Jon’s Hamm

Since news broke last week that Mad Men producers insisted Jon Hamm cease going commando for the show’s sixth season, underwear companies have come forward offering to dress Jon’s ham for life, according to TMZ.
Both Jockey and Fruit of the Loom made statements offering lifetime support to Jon Hamm and Jon Hamm Jr.
According to TMZ, a rep for Jockey told the site: “Jockey would like to offer our support for Jon Hamm in the form of a lifetime supply of Jockey underwear.” The company also posted a message of support for the Mad Men star on Twitter earlier this week:

Fruit of the Loom also jumped into the mix, saying in a statement: “We want people to be themselves. And if going Commando makes you happy, we say go for it. But in case you change your mind, we got you covered.”
After all this hoopla over his impressive package, we bet Jon Hamm could nab a hefty endorsement deal with any underwear brand he fancies. While we’ll miss Jon Jr.’s public appearances through the fabric of Hamm’s trousers, it would be a small price to pay for a professional photo campaign of the star in his skivvies.
