Olympics Men's Cycling Individual Time Trial

From: Speed o Rex

The Olympics Men's Cycling Individual Time Trial was contested Wednesday outside of Rio de Janeiro.

The 59.8 course was two loops of the same circuit.  This led to some unusual sights, with two, or even three, cyclists being in sight at the same time.

The Race was handily won by Swiss Cyclist Fabian Cancellara, who is in the bell lap of his career.  An Olympic Gold Medal is quite the way to go out!

Second, the Silver Medal,  was taken by Dutch Cyclist Tom Dumoulin, and third, Bronze, was taken by Great Britain's Chris Froome, who had been overall winner, if you remember, of this years Tour de France.

The Tour de Force was Cancellara today, though, as he bested Dumoulin by 47 seconds and Froome by 1:02.

 Congratulations Fabian!
