Andreja Pejić

Australian model Andreja Pejić was initially known as the first totally androgynous supermodel before completing her transition in 2013.

“I don’t believe that the fight for trans rights or African American rights is different from the fight against war, or the fight for refugees,” she told i-D in a video interview.

Regarding her decision to transition, she said: “There was definitely a lot of, ‘Oh, you’re going to lose what’s special about you. You’re not going to be interesting anymore. There are loads of pretty girls out there.’”

“It is about showing that this is not just a gimmick.”

Fetish For Religious Iconography

Thanks to our old companion shame, religious iconography is fulled with sexual tension. Religion is intimately intertwined with our sex lives. Most of us are taught from a young age what we can and cannot do with out bodies by parents who cite this or that religious practice as the foundation for these "rules."

When we discover and accept our sexual selves and break free from these messages - when we learn to shift between the good lessons (don't rape) and bad ones (don't masturbate) - religious imagery and overtones can take on an erotic feel and often do. This is more common then you might think.

Go to any fetish convention and you will see people in nun habits, priests with no pants on and people cuffed and whipped on a St. Andrew's Cross - a staple piece of bondage furniture for any BDSM connoisseur.

13 Times Katharine Hepburn Was Queer Perfection

“Sylvia Scarlett”

In 1935, Hepburn convincingly cross dressed as a con artist’s daughter pretending to be a boy to escape the law in this George Cukor adventure-comedy. She even engaged in a same-sex kiss with a flirtatious maid who thinks she’s an eligible bachelor. The homoeroticism continue as co-stars Brian Aherne and Cary Grant also find themselves strangely attracted to “Sylvester.”

While Sylvia Scarlett was a box office dud—Cukor and Hepburn reportedly begged producers to shelve the picture if they agreed to make their next film for free—one reviewer called Hepburn “the handsomest boy of the season.”

It’s “Will & Grace: The Musical” In First Trailer For Series Revival

"Did somebody say encore?"
From: NewNowNext
Get ready for “Just Jack 2017!”

NBC has unveiled the first full trailer for the highly anticipated revival of Will & Grace.

The new promo for the revival debuted at the NBC Upfronts presentation in New York.

In the new clip Eric McCormack tries to convince Debra Messing to star in the sitcom again, eventually bringing her to the set of the show where they run into Karen (Megan Mullally) who “laid down for a disco nap” and Jack (Sean Hayes) who is renting out the fake apartment to a gentleman caller. The four then end up performing a showstopper musical number, “As If We Never Said Goodbye,” from Sunset Boulevard.

“Well that was gay,” McCormack says after they finish their song.

The Peacock network announced that it was resurrecting “Must-See TV” with Will & Grace returning to its Thursday home followed by the new series Great News and ratings juggernaut This Is Us.

The new batch of episodes will reunite the original cast along with creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will serve as show runners. James Burrows, who helmed every episode of the original run, will return to direct. NBC had originally ordered a 10-episode ninth season but added two additional episodes—for an hour long Christmas episode—and the network hopes to up the number even more.

“It’s possible,” NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt told Deadline. “It’s my hope that we will have more than that.”

‘American Gods’ Airs the Most Explicit Gay Sex Scene Mainstream TV Has Ever Seen

From: Towleroad
The series American Gods has aired what some critics have called “the single hottest and most pornographic gay sex scene ever put on mainstream television.”

As reported earlier this month, the new series, adapted from Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel of the same name, tells the story of a battle between old and new gods in an American setting and features a steamy sex scene between Omid Abtahi, who plays a young Muslim man named Salim living in New York, and Mousa Kraish, who plays a spiritual messenger, or jinn, disguised as a taxi driver.

Check out some stills from the scene below.

Abtahi, Kraish and Executive Producer Bryan Fuller sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the episode.

Watch:

EW reports:

The scene (directed by Guillermo Navarro) marked Kraish’s first-ever onscreen kiss and sex scene; coincidentally, it marked Abtahi’s second, as the actor played another gay character named Salim on Showtime’s 2005 series Sleeper Cell. Both actors have been friends for a decade, which they say aided their experience during shooting, and fans of Gaiman’s novel. But more importantly, they laud the filmmakers and Gaiman not just for the beauty of the eroticism, but for the representation onscreen.
“This was my first time seeing it complete, and it was beautiful and everything that I expected it to be… but sex scene aside, just seeing two Middle Eastern men represented in that way, with humor and love and joy…it’s taken me eleven years to get to that,” said a visibly emotional Kraish. “And I want to see more of that.” (Narratively, viewers will, as this is just the beginning of Salim and the Jinn’s story in the series; in the book, this scene is their only appearance.)
Abtahi confessed to nerves ahead of watching the scene with his wife. “I just felt, ‘God, I hope it’s not raunchy.’ And when I did see it and saw how it was shot and the music and the slow motion and the attention to detail and [Mousa’s] eyes, it was just so f—ing beautiful. I’m so proud to be a part of it.”

Fuller wanted the scene to be realistic, and it wasn’t in the first cut.

Said Fuller to Vulture: “I was like, ‘Okay, unless he has a 12-inch, candy-cane cock and can fuck around corners, his dick’s not getting in him. So you guys need to go back and figure out where holes are.”

Zac Efron Takes on Role as Serial Killer Ted Bundy in New Film

Efron has agreed to star in role
From: Gay Pop Buzz
Zac Efron has played a lot of different roles but serial killer hasn’t been one of them. Well, that is until now. According to a report on Variety, the 29-year old celeb has agreed to take on the part of the notorious Ted Bundy.

The name of the film is: Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and has actually been in the works since 2014, according to its official IMDb file.

Voltage Pictures will be producing the film and the first pictures will be taken as part of principle photography will occur on October 9. The Variety report states that “Voltage will fully finance and is handling international sales at the Cannes Film Festival. CAA and UTA Independent Film Group represent the domestic rights.”

For those who may not know, Ted Bundy was a serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, burglar, and necrophile who assaulted and murdered numerous young women and girls back in the 1970s, and perhaps earlier.

Just before his execution in 1989 via execution – after more than a decade of denials—Bundy confessed to 30 killings across seven states between the years 1974 and 1978. The true victim count remains unknown, and many think the number is much higher. Many books on the psychopath killer have been written, including Kevin Sullivan’s, The Bundy Murders.

Efron’s role as Ted Bundy would be a departure from some of his more recent work where he has played a muscled up frat guy in films that focus on mindless beef and brawn (i.e. Baywatch). An article in May of 2016 said that it would be good for the popular actor to consider variation when taking on parts to avoid being typecast.

A quick look at some of his movies over the past several years shows a pattern that some feel needs to be broken if he hopes to make a transition:

Neighbors
Dirty Grandpa
We are your friends
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
Baywatch

In 2013, Efron did appear in the independent film, Parkland, where he took on the part of a physician in a movie about the events that transpired on November 22, 1963 – the day President Kennedy was assassinated. The movie, however, did not get much attention.

Should Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile become a success, it may help the star pivot towards more serious roles in the future.

Watch what happens when 20 Republicans are given the chance to help Trump

From: Queerty
It sounds like the setup to a bad joke: 20 Republican senators and representatives walk into a bar. The bartender, Charlie Rose, asks the politicians, “So what are you having?”

They answer in unison: “Absolutely none of it.” Then they all turn white as sheets and make a break for the exit. It’s a bit of a disaster, as the doorframe is rather small and only one person can leave at a time. It looks a little something like this:

Except this analogy doesn’t even really work, since none of them would have shown up to the bar to begin with.

Charlie Rose invited 20 Republican senators and representatives to discuss former FBI directer James Comey’s recently reported-on memo that Trump tried to obstruct justice. It was the perfect opportunity for a rising GOP leader to score brownie points by offering some Orwellian spin on the president’s actions. They wouldn’t even have to really make sense, as Kellyanne Conway and other mouthpieces have shown time and time agin.

But Charlie got 20 resounding “no’s.” The White House also declined to appear.

Here’s yet further proof that we’re living in strange days indeed:

More on the memo, via The New York Times:

President Trump asked the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, to shut down the federal investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, in an Oval Office meeting in February, according to a memo Mr. Comey wrote shortly after the meeting.
“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.
The documentation of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.

Wannabe Congressman Antonio Sabàto Jr. Is Getting Divorced And His Estranged Wife Claims He’s A Drug Addict

From: Dlisted
Janet Jackson video ho turned Jagger from General Hospital turned Jack from Melrose Place turned Calvin Klein chonies model turned reality trick Antonio Sabàto Jr. wants to add “congressman” to his long list of shit he’s done. Antonio is planning to run for Congress in California’s 26th Congressional District in the 2018 midterm elections. You can’t really run for political office if you don’t have some kind of ESCANDALO freshly staining your already stained reputation, and nowadays you really can’t. Antonio’s now got that covered thanks to his estranged wife accusing him of being a regular Jennifer North (that’s a Valley of the Dolls reference for you uneducated tricks).

TMZ says that last December, Antonio filed for divorce from his wife of 5 years, Cheryl Moana Marie. In her response, she accused him of being hooked on pills and says she doesn’t want him around their 6-year-old son. Antonio wants joint physical custody and she wants sole physical custody. Cheryl claims that Antonio was on meth before they started dating in 2009, but he got clean for the sake of his now-14-year-old daughter from another relationship. Antonio isn’t a meth head anymore, but Cheryl says that he is hooked on benzos.

Antonio tells TMZ that he did go to rehab for a sleeping pill issue, but that everything else that Cheryl claims is lies. Antonio apparently plans to make drug abuse and the opioid epidemic his main platform when he runs for Congress.

If Antonio is really a pill-popping mess, then he’ll make a perfect politician, but he still fucked up his campaign and it hasn’t even really started. Antonio should’ve never filed for divorce if he’s planning to run for office. He should’ve paid Cheryl to stay with him and play the role of “perfect wife and mother” and explained that she’s not on the campaign trail that often because she’s busying being a devoted mother to their child. Even his idol Trump knew to do that! How can anyone vote for him now?

Trump’s Explanation for Comey Firing is Rife with Inconsistency, Implausibility, and Unsupportable Claims

From: Towleroad
In an interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt, Donald Trump spewed a load of assertions about the firing of James Comey and the Russia investigation rife with inconsistencies, implausibility, and unsupportable claims.

Trump told Holt that Comey told him he was not under investigation even though Comey has testified under oath that Trump is under investigation. Would Comey have had such a discussion? And such a conversation would make Trump an obstructor of justice.

Writes the Washington Post:

In the interview, Trump made clear it was his idea to fire the FBI director earlier this week. Trump fired Comey on Tuesday, after receiving a memorandum from the deputy attorney general criticizing Comey’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
“Regardless of recommendation, I was going to fire Comey,’’ said Trump.
The president said Comey told him on three occasions that the FBI was not investigating him, offering more details of an assertion he made in his letter dismissing the FBI director. …
The exchange as described by the president is remarkable in that he said the FBI director was discussing an ongoing investigation with the president — something Justice Department policy generally prohibits — at the same time Comey was seeking assurances he would remain in his job.

Watch:

The New York Times sheds more light on Trump’s dinner with Comey:

As they ate, the president and Mr. Comey made small talk about the election and the crowd sizes at Mr. Trump’s rallies. The president then turned the conversation to whether Mr. Comey would pledge his loyalty to him.
Mr. Comey declined to make that pledge. Instead, Mr. Comey has recounted to others, he told Mr. Trump that he would always be honest with him, but that he was not “reliable” in the conventional political sense.
The White House says this account is not correct. And Mr. Trump, in an interview with NBC, described a far different dinner conversation with Mr. Comey in which the director asked to have the meeting and the question of loyalty never came up. It was not clear whether he was talking about the same meal, but they are believed to have had only one dinner together.

And FBI officials are now disputing details of the dinner with Comey:

Despite what President Donald Trump said earlier in the day, James Comey did not seek a dinner with the president to retain his job, one current and one former FBI official close to Comey told NBC News.
The January dinner meeting between the two men, the sources said, was requested by the White House. And the former senior FBI official said Comey would never have told the president he was not under investigation — also contradicting what Trump said.
“He tried to stay away from it [the Russian-ties investigation],” said the former official, who worked closely with Comey and keeps in touch with him. “He would say, ‘look sir, I really can’t get into it, and you don’t want me to.'”

Trump Melts Down in Tweetstorm, Threatens to Cancel All Press Briefings

From: Towleroad
In the wake of a disastrous interview with NBC News anchor Lester Holt, Donald Trump took to Twitter last Friday morning to dig a deeper hole, launching a barrage of tweets attacking the “fake news” media, FBI Director James Comey and threatening to cancel all press briefings.

Tweeted Trump: “Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election….The Fake Media is working overtime today!…As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!…….Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future “press briefings” and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy??? … James Comey better hope that there are no “tapes” of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!”

Trump Gives Top Post to Anti-LGBT Extremist Sheriff David Clarke

David Clarke will head to Homeland Security
From: Gay Pop Buzz
These days, there’s a lot going on in Washington. That’s why it’s easy to miss stories that fly under the radar.

One of them is the recent move by the Trump Administration to put extremist David Clarke, the Milwaukee County Sheriff, into the job of assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

As reported in the Milwaukee Sentinel Journal and shared by the blog Joe My God:

“Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. will leave office next month to accept a federal appointment as an assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He will work in the department’s Office of Partnership and Engagement as a liaison with state, local and tribal law enforcement and governments.”
From saying transgender Americans “suffered from mental disorders” to calling on Americans to “rage, then revolt” following the U.S. Supreme Court’s history marriage equality ruling in 2015, Clarke’s anti-LGBTQ history runs deep (Wisconsin Gazette).

Apparently, Clarke is excited about the new gig.

“I’m looking forward to joining that team,” Clarke said Thursday afternoon on the Vicki McKenna talk show on 1130 WISN Radio. Clarke said one of his responsibilities would be to “take complaints of shortcomings in the Department of Homeland Security.” “They feel like they’re being ignored,” Clarke said of his counterparts in local law enforcement.”

Here’s what Right Wing Watch has documented about some of Clarke’s belief’s:

“Clarke has “compared Beyonce to a Ku Klux Klan member, called for the Great Seal of the United States to feature a semi-automatic rifle, and repeatedly demanded a literal uprising against the government in protest of President Obama’s gun violence proposals, potential election rigging and marriage equality.” He once tweeted that anti-Trump protests “must be quelled.”
But there is more:

“Clarke suggested that any person who posts pro-terrorist sentiments on social media be arrested, deprived of the constitutional protection against unlawful imprisonment (known as habeas corpus), and sent to Guantanamo Bay indefinitely,” Pema Levy of Mother Jones writes. “He estimated the number of people who could be imprisoned under his proposal could reach 1 million. Presumably, this would include American citizens.”
“Clarke once said that when he hears “people say we need to reach across the aisle and work with the Democrats, you know what I say? The only reason I’ll be reaching across the aisle is to grab one of them by the throat.
As Joe My God reported, in 2006 Clarke was sued (successfully) for forcing cops sit through Christian proselytizing sessions before his mandatory staff meetings.

Clarke appealed the ruling to an appellate court and lost again.

At the moment, Clarke is being sued after an inmate at his jail died of thirst six days after the water was cut off to his cell. “He is known to post public physical threats against his critics on the official Facebook page for the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department,” reports JMG.

And then there’s this:

“David Clarke sued for have police detain man who asked about his outfit. David Clarke hurls racist slur at CNN commentator. David Clarke calls for a “pitchforks and torches” uprising against the federal government and journalists should Hillary Clinton win the election.”
