Boing-oing-oing, Tyler Posey Hot AF While In His Front Yard

From: Fleshbot
Oh Tyler Posey, so dumb, so so so so beautiful. The 25-year-old Teen Wolf star was recently caught doing random shit in his front yard while shirtless. He smokes, picks up trash, flexes while holding onto an iron gate - you name it and he did it in these completely candid pictures. When you read the worlds "Teen Wolf" you might assume that Tyler's tongue fucked a twink's mouth at least 10 times on the MTV teen drama, but unfortunately he's apparently like the only straight character.

In these insanely sexy pictures you can see that Tyler has EYEFUCKINGBROWS, a jawline that I want to use like a bicycle seat, amazing head of hair, acceptable tattoos, the ultimate toned, lean body, and a happy trail leading to what I'm guessing is a hair bonanza. YURM.

If the name Tyler Posey rings a bell, it might be because he's that guy who had the brilliant idea of fake coming out on his Snapchat. In July Posey stated to all of his followers:

This is me. I am this and this is me. I’ve never felt more alive. I’m gay!

But he unfortunately redacted the statement before I got to catch a plane to LA and tell him to put his money where my mouth is. Tyler was more or less making fun of actors that come out, and considering he starred alongside Charlie Carver and Colton Haynes on Teen Wolf, it was a fucking weird move. He really tied a bow on the whole debacle when he tweeted:

Although I'm not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that.

Mhm. Did I also mention that Tyler's dating the inspiration for Nip/Tuck, Bella Thorne In My Side? You know, the same actress who got her eyebrows tattooed live on her Snapchat? Now we can check out our big gorgeous dummy Tyler Posey wearing only his sweatpants and tennis shoes!

Gay Man Reportedly Attacked By Trump Supporters On Election Night

"They were saying things like, ‘We got a new president you fucking faggots.’"
From: NewNowNext
A gay man was reportedly attacked by Trump supporters on Election Night in Santa Monica.

Chris Ball of Calgary was watching poll results at a bar in the Southern Californian city when he says things became more tense as the the evening wore on.

“People started launching homophobic slurs at me from afar,” he told Metro. “They were saying things like, ‘We got a new president you fucking faggots.’”
“I mean, I kind of got into it, but I didn’t want to provoke them.”

Ball says he left the bar alone and was jumped by a group of men, one of whom hit him over the head with a bottle. He reeled backward, hit his head on the concrete and passed out.

When he awoke, he called friends who took him to the hospital, where he received five stitches. But, says Ball, the wound looks worse than it was.

“When I came to, I remember waking up and wiping the blood from my eyes,” he explained. “I called some friends, they picked me up and I went right to the hospital.”

“I’m in pretty good spirits. That’s just how I have to handle it,” he said. “I’m alive and well and still very gay.”

Four more states vote to legalize marijuana

From: Bos Guy
While the political commentators rehash the election, I have no stomach for it and am sickened by the thought of a Trump presidency so I thought I would point out what an historic night it was at the ballot box for a less obvious reason.

After Tuesday’s results, the number of states that agreed to legalize marijuana for recreational has doubled from four to eight with California, Maine, Massachusetts and Nevada voters approving state ballot initiatives. Only in Arizona where voting remains too close to call appears to have bucked a national trend and said, “No”. For residents of Massachusetts this means that as of December 15th it will be legal to possess small amounts of marijuana and for residents to grow pot in their homes. Retail sales will not begin until Jan. 2018.

Americans living in states where marijuana is / will be legal for recreational use now includes:

Alaska
California
Colorado
Maine
Massachusetts
Nevada
Oregon
Washington
Washington D.C.

Democrat Maggie Hassan Declares Victory Over Incumbent NH Senator Kelly Ayotte

From: Towleroad
Democratic candidate Maggie Hassan has claimed victory in a narrow win over Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire.

The win would be one of two pick-ups for Democrats in the Senate. Republicans will still control that chamber for the next two years.

The New Hampshire Union Leader reports:

During a hastily-called press conference outside the State House, Hassan said she’s ahead now by enough votes to survive returns from the few outstanding towns that are left.
“I am proud to stand here as the next United States senator from New Hampshire,” Hassan said to cheers from a large group of supporters led by Congresswoman Annie Kuster and Hassan’s husband, Tom.
The two-term governor said she hadn’t spoken with Ayotte.
It’s clear we have maintained the lead in and have won this race,” Hassan said.
Sen. Ayotte issued a brief statement after Hassan’s event but did not concede and deferred to Secretary of State Bill Gardner’s final results.

More from CBS:

With such a slim margin, Ayotte announced she’s still in the race.
“This has been a closely contested race from the beginning and we look forward to results being announced by the Secretary of State, and ensuring that every vote is counted in this race that has received an historic level of interest,” spokeswoman Liz Johnson said in a statement.

Previously, Ayotte flip-flopped on whether she considered Donald Trump a role model for our kids.

CALIFORNIA: Condoms-In-Porn Initiative Fails

From: Joe My God
From the Los Angeles Daily News:

A state initiative that called for enforcing condom use during all adult film production sites across California failed to win voters over, according to results released on Wednesday.
Almost 54 percent of all state voters chose to pass on Proposition 60,which would have made producers prove that condoms were used, pay for performers’ workplace-related medical examinations and vaccines and be licensed by Cal-OSHA, the state’s workplace safety agency, every two years. They would also be subjected to hefty fines if condoms aren’t used.
But adult film performers opposed the initiative because they say it would turn viewers into critics, resulting in lawsuits and harassment. Some actors fear that under the law, stalkers would be able seek them out and do harm if their real names were listed in public documents such as lawsuits filed over possible violations of the measure.
“This was a tremendous victory, not only for adult performers, but for science over stigma, and facts over fear.” said Mike Stabile, spokesman for the Free Speech Coalition, a Canoga Park-based trade organization that represents the adult entertainment industry.

From an op-ed published Tuesday by the Los Angeles Times:

In truth, Proposition 60 is a reflection of the ways in which people living with HIV are stigmatized, persecuted and policed across the country. Currently, 33 states have laws on the books that make it a crime to expose a partner to the virus. In 28 states, it’s even a felony to do so.
This might sound like a reasonable idea, one that advocates safer sex between individuals, but criminalizing HIV actually serves to force people further into the closet. How the U.S. legal and political system treats HIV is unsafe, unjust and overdue for reform, and the passage of Proposition 60 would only make the problem worse.
In addition to virtually all political parties, Prop 60 was opposed by AIDS Project Los Angeles and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Hillary Was The Most Pro-Gay Candidate In American History. And She Went Down.

From: Queerty
Trump’s victory is so shocking that it’s easy to forget just how historical Hillary Clinton‘s campaign really was. And it’s also easy to forget she won the popular vote. So, America is actually on our side. Barely. The Electoral College was not.

In the end, there was no shattering of the glass (at least in politics) ceiling for women in politics as she suffered a humbling defeat to a man who should not be elected dog catcher and who made the humiliation of women, Muslims, immigrants and every other vulnerable group into a sick game.

Instead, there was a shattering of hopes. Chief among there was our own. For all the lack of enthusiasm about Clinton as a candidate, one fact is indisputable: she was the most pro-gay presidential nominee ever. No major party presidential candidate was completely on board with our issues in the way that Hillary Clinton was.

Yes, she’s taken hits for being slow to the party, but there’s no reason to have doubted the sincerity of her commitment–even though lots of voters, including LGBTQ voters, obviously did. And calling Clinton the most pro-gay nominee is not a veiled criticism of Obama, to whom we owe an enormous debt. But Clinton had the potential to do a lot even more than Obama.

Here are seven reminders of just how much lost with Clinton’s defeat. In order to move on, we need to come to terms with the enormity of this loss.

 1.
Clinton would have been the first president-elect to enter the White House 100 percent behind marriage equality

That’s no knock on Obama. But Obama took office as an opponent of marriage equality. He only changed his (public) stance in 2012 and perhaps a little ahead of schedule because of Joe Biden’s off-the-cuff endorsement. Of course, Clinton has taken heat for the speed of her own evolution. But she’s been very vocal in her support since then. Which leads to the second proof point…

2.
Clinton made being pro-gay a qualifying issue for a Supreme Court appointee

In the third presidential debate, Clinton made a point of saying she wanted to appoint a Supreme Court nominee who would protect marriage equality. No other candidate has ever said that protecting our rights is an issue worth vetting a potential justice for.

 3.
A big gay and lesbian campaign staff would have meant a big gay and lesbian White House staff
J
The Clinton campaign was rife with gay and lesbian staffers, starting right at the top, with campaign chief Robby Mook. That would have translated into high-level positions in the White House. Mook was in line to be named senior adviser, which would have made him the highest-ranking gay official within the West Wing.

 4.
She made LGBT rights a centerpiece of the Democratic convention

The Democratic convention has been a showcase for gay and lesbian speakers and issues dating back to Bill Clinton. But with Clinton calling the shots, this year’s convention was a prime-time pride parade.

5.
She’s was the first nominee to march in a pride parade

Clinton seemed to be having a blast at the New York parade last June. Not even Obama has stepped out with us either before or during his White House stint.

6.
She elevated gay rights to an international issue

In many ways, Clinton is extending the progress that Obama made. But on this issue, she really deserves special credit for forging a new path while she was Secretary of State. Her amazing speech at the UN was a landmark for gay rights. As Secretary, she didn’t just raise visibility. She raised the bar by making LGBT rights a human rights issue.

7.
She could have pushed our agenda so much further

Even with Republican obstructionism, Clinton had the potential to advance our rights significantly by interpreting federal protections against gender discrimination to include sexual orientation as well. The Obama administration used gender discrimination to extend rights to trans people. Clinton could have used the same reasoning to extend protections in housing and the Affordable Care Act.
Of course, now we’ll never know. But as we contemplate what a Trump administration looks like, don’t forget the might-have-beens of the Clinton presidency.
