Fergie Brings All The “M.I.L.F.$” To The Yard With Scorching Hot New Video

"Welcome to the dairy dutchess love factory..."
From: NewNowNext
After tearing it up at NYC Pride’s Dance on the Pier, Fergie is back with a brand new video for her latest single, “Milk Money”—stylized as “M.I.L.F. $

Set in the candy-colored town of “Milfville,” Colin Tilley’s mouthwatering video features the Grammy winner and her “M.I.L.F. pack,” including Kim Kardashian West, Chrissy Teigen, Ciara and Amber Valletta driving all the men wild—including out model Jon Kortajarena.

Of course, in the Dutchess’ world, M.I.L.F means “Moms I’d Like To Follow.”

“Changing the acronym… is about empowering women who do it all,” says Fergie. “They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy.”

Sexy is right: The new mom appears in a variety of skin-tight outfits that have us questioning our sexuality.

Whoo-boy!

Keep your peepers peeled for her second solo album, Double Dutchess, coming later this year.

Feminists Remake The Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” To Promote Gender Equality

Victoria Beckham approves of "Girl Power being used to empower a new generation."
From: NewNowNext

An amazing new video by the UN’s Global Goals initiative puts a new twist on The Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” to promote gender equality.

The video features famous women from around the globe, including Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and British hip hop group M.O., recreating the iconic video while signs in the background describe what women “really really want”: equal pay for equal work, quality education, an end to violence against girls.

A description on YouTube reads:

In 2015 world leaders promised to put girls and women first when they signed up to the Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty, fix climate change and tackle inequalities.

Girls and women are disproportionately affected by these challenges and are key to building resilient communities to withstand them. That’s why we need to ensure World Leaders and the Secretary General of the United Nations listen to the voices of girls and women and put them first in policies and plans.
2016 is our chance to use our collective power and tell world leaders what we really really want for girls and women.

The new campaign urges women to share pictures of themselves calling for what they “really really want” so that they can be shared with United Nations influencers.

The Spice Girls themselves have even supported the campaign on social media.

“20 years on – Girl Power being used to empower a new generation,” said Victoria Beckham. “I’m so proud of The Global Goals.”

Said Melanie C: “So flattered and honoured that our crazy song is being used so beautifully for such a great cause.”

Favorite Pic Series of the Day for July 7, 2008

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
A poster Jason commented on my love of the male butt on the pic of the day for yesterday. Jason is very correct, my favorite parts of any guy I find attractive are all above the neck with eyes, smile and hair being what most attracts me. I can live with anything below if that face brightens my day. But...if including below the neck, I just happen get turned on more seeing a great looking guy walking away than towards me, the male butt is far more interesting to me than the penis. Maybe it is the same as straight men who are breast men, I am certainly a bun man. Here are a few more pics of the great male butt. Also you can have a little mood music from another Jason, Jason Yeager from this past season of American Idol. I really liked his version of this old standard, and bet he has a nice butt.

July 7th is Tell The Truth Day

Imagine a world where nobody lies, says anything misleading, or does anything dishonest. Tell The Truth Day aims to achieve this for just one day – presumably to allow people the rest of the year to get over insult, hurt and the result of truths which perhaps should have remained un-said!

As Rio Readies For Summer Olympics, LGBT Brazilians Are Being Murdered On An Epic Scale

Almost half of all the transgender murders in the world take place in Brazil, where, on average, one LGBT person is murdered ever day.
From: NewNowNext
As Orlando proved, anti-LGBT violence is a global problem. But in Brazil, it’s reached epidemic proportions—often with a gruesomeness that is shocking to even hardened activists.

According to the group Grupo Gay da Bahia, nearly 1,600 LGBT people have been murdered in the country since 2011. By their estimates, a gay or trans person is killed almost every day in Brazil.

Last year, a videotape surfaced of 25-year-old transgender samba dancer Piu da Silva (right), bloody, terrified and pleading for her life.

Relatives found da Silva’s body the next day, horribly disfigured and riddled with bullets. (Another trans woman was found with her eyes plucked out.)

In June, the charred bodies of gay professors Edivaldo Silva de Oliveira and Jeovan Bandeir were discovered in the trunk of a burning car in Bahia.

Edivaldo had to be identified by his dental records.

And just four days ago, gay student Diego Vieira Machado (below) was found dead on the river banks in Rio de Janiero, naked from the waist down with his head bashed in.

There’s never any money missing, never any witnesses, and the police never have any suspects. (On Gaycation, Ellen Page met with a Brazilian police officer who admitted he has murdered gay people.)

There were even reports a few years back of a serial killer targeting gay men in Sao Paolo, one of Brazil’s biggest cities.

“We live off this image as an open and tolerant place,” Jandira Queiroz of Amnesty International Brazil told the New York Times. “[But] homophobic violence has hit crisis levels and it’s getting worse.”

Of course it’s not just LGBT people being victimized: Street crime is up 24% and homicide has increased nearly 15% across the board.

Just last week, body parts washed ashore on a beach that will be used by Olympic volleyball players.

Brazil is often seen as warm and accepting—it’s home to the world’s largest Pride celebration, after all.

But almost half of all the transgender murders in the world take place there, and more than 40% of all anti-LGBT violence.

“On the one hand, we are a pink country, celebrating sexual diversity and showing gay couples easily on our telenovelas,” says Grupo Gay da Bahia founder Luiz Mott. “Then, there is another color, the red blood of victims.”

Some see the violence as backlash against the country’s more progressive impulses.

“Those who remain intolerant and opposed to LGBT rights are developing new strategies and a more virulent discourse to block progress on those issues,” explains Javier Corrales, a political scientist who studies LGBT groups in Latin America, in the Times piece.

Those opponents find a safe harbor in evangelical Christianity, which has blossomed in Brazil since being imported from the U.S. In 1970, just 5% of Brazilians considered themselves evangelicals. Now that number is closer to one-fourth of the population.

In 2013 Silas Malafaia, the multimillionaire head of the Assembly of God church, organized a March for the Family in Brasilia to protest gay marriage and decriminalizing abortion. “Gay activism is moral garbage,” Malafaia told a crowd of thousands. “Satan will not destroy our family values.”

Evangelicals have grabbed power in Brazil’s Congress, as well—forming a voting bloc that’s throttled anti-discrimination and hate-crime laws.

Jair Bolsonaro, a prominent congressman, compared same-sex marriage to pedophilia and recommended corporal punishment to “cure” homosexuality. (Bolsonaro also said he’d rather his son die than come out as gay.)

And Lower House President Eduardo Cunha, third in line to the presidency, claimed Brazil is “under attack” by gays. He’s trying to overturn the 2013 court ruling bringing marriage equality to the country.

“I don’t know what they can do,” worries Jean Wyllys (left), Brazil’s only openly gay congressman. “But I can say with certainty that it won’t be good for us.”

Before the world casts its gaze toward to Brazil next month for the Summer Olympics, much unpleasantness will be swept out of view.

That won’t mean a crackdown on anti-LGBT violence, though—more likely, it means more poor trans and gay Brazilians being thrown in jail and murdered. Will the world take notice, like it did with Russian homophobia during the Sochi Games?

Ironically, the Rio Olympics will have a Pride House, where LGBT athletes can relax and feel safe.

LGBT Brazilians, however, feel anything but.
