Scandal

Patty Smyth and the boys of Scandal hit a home run with “The Warrior,” but that would be it for their chart fortunes. The follow-up “Hands Tied” hit a frustrating #41 in December 1984, and “Beat Of A Heart” ALSO hit the dreaded #41 in March 1985. Both deserved better, especially the sultry “Beat Of A Heart.”

 Zac Efron

Because, well ... duh.

In my funny memoir Starf*cker, I wrote a bit about working with Zac directly back when he was 18-and-a-day years old. He was a very bright pleaser, and very self-conscious when he wasn't eating up the attention everyone showered on him. He was a born performer, and he truly struck me as a decent person.

I hope his emotional demons are behind him. His physical shell couldn't be more perfect.

Elizabeth Taylor
 as
Cleopatra

Film
"Cleopatra" (1963) is a historical epic that follows Cleopatra's passionate affairs with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. Not to mention its one of the most extravagant and expensive movies ever made.

Character's Background
Cleopatra was Egypt's last independent pharaoh. She is widely believed to have been of Macedonian descent, though many modern-day scientists insist she also had African roots. That means that it is very unlikely that Cleopatra was as fair-skinned and light-eyed as Hollywood portrays her.

Actress' Background
Elizabeth Taylor was born in England to American parents. Her family's ancestry was rooted in Western European.

The Lair Of The White Worm

Ken Russell brought Bram Stoker‘s novella to the big screen …as only he could. Hugh Grant stars with the faboo Amanda Donohoe, who gives one of the most memorable, go-for-broke performances of the decade. If, like me, your idea of a good time is watching Catherine Oxenberg bound and gagged, dangling over the mouth of a hell snake pit while wearing white panties and a bra … then this is your movie!
