19 Men Go Shirtless And Share Their Body Image Struggles
From: HuffPost
"My relationship with my body has changed a lot over the years. I struggled with self-esteem as a young, chubby child. But I had a few important experiences -- like having to use communal Japanese baths and swimming competitively -- that made me quite comfortable with bare skin by the time I got to high school. Recently, I've been struggling more with that confidence. I often feel somewhat weak and flimsy and wish I had a more powerful body. I'm really grateful to have people around me who are very open about their own body issues -- which is the key. Once one friend starts sharing, it sets the space for everyone else to do so as well."

Barefoot in the Park had also previously been a successful 1967 film starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda.
Scoey Mitchell plays Paul Bratter, a newlywed attorney for the law firm Kendricks, Keene & Klein living in lower Manhattan with his wife, Corie (played by Tracy Reed). The show was a slice-of-life situation comedy about surviving in New York City. Other regulars included Thelma Carpenter as Corie's mother, Mable Bates, Harry Holcombe as Mr. Kendricks, Vito Scotti as Mr. Velasquez and Nipsey Russell as local pool hall owner, Honey Robinson.

“Out There”
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
How it relates: In Hunchback, Quasimodo is kept hidden due to his deformity. Frollo believes Quasimodo is an abomination and freak of nature. In “Out There,” Quasimodo longs just to walk in the midst of society without fear or feeling like a freak. Some people may self-isolate because they are made to feel like they are too out of the ordinary, even though they really want to be in a community with people.
Takeaway lyric:
“Every day they shout and scold and go about their lives
Heedless of the gift it is to be them
If I was in their skin
I’d treasure ev’ry instant”

Jad Mager
Jad appeared twice as Bajoran Ensign Tabor, but made a lasting impression. In Episode 5.8 “Nothing Human,” Tabor protests when the Doctor seeks the medical advice of a another holographic doctor, a Cardassian who was responsible for horrific war crimes, using Bajorans as test subjects.
In Episode 7.4 “Repression,” B’Elanna and Tom enter the holodeck movie theater to discover Tabor comatose (no, he wasn’t watching footage of their courtship), and it’s discovered that someone on board is putting the Bajoran crew members into comas! Was it Nicole Janeway? After Voyager, Jad has continued acting steadily on TV and stage.

As Good as It Gets
John Joseph "Jack" Nicholson (born April 22, 1937) is a multiple Oscar-winning American actor and filmmaker, having performed for nearly 60 years. He is one of America's most intriguing, popular and versatile screen personalities, capable of playing a wide range of starring or supporting roles. Past roles have included satirical comedy, romance and dark portrayals of excitable and psychopathic characters. In many of his films he played the "eternal outsider, the sardonic drifter," and someone who rebels against the social structure.
Nicholson's 12 Academy Award nominations make him the most nominated male actor in the Academy's history. Nicholson has won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice, one for the drama One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and the other for the romantic comedy As Good as It Gets (1997). He also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the comedy-drama Terms of Endearment (1983). Nicholson is one of three male actors to win three Academy Awards. Nicholson is one of only two actors to be nominated for an Academy Award for acting in every decade from the 1960s to the 2000s; the other was Michael Caine. He has won six Golden Globe Awards, and received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2001. In 1994, he became one of the youngest actors to be awarded the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award.
Other notable films in which he has starred include the road movie Easy Rider (1969), the drama Five Easy Pieces (1970), the comedy-drama film The Last Detail (1973), the neo-noir mystery film Chinatown (1974), the drama The Passenger (1975), and the epic film Reds (1981). He played Jack Torrance in the Stanley Kubrick's horror film The Shining (1980), the Joker in Batman (1989), and Frank Costello in the Martin Scorsese's crime drama The Departed (2006). Other films include the legal drama A Few Good Men (1992), the Sean Penn-directed mystery film The Pledge (2001), and the comedy-drama About Schmidt (2002).

Caitlyn Jenner Not At All Bothered By 'Caitlyn' Halloween Costume: 'I Think It's Great'
From: Wicked Gay
While there may have been uproar across social media when it was revealed that retailers were selling a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume, Caitlyn herself appears to not be bothered by it in an interview with Matt Lauer.
In fact, as she told Matt Lauer in the first of a two-part golf course interview that aired on Wednesday's Today, she thinks "it's great!"
"I don't think it's offensive at all. I know the community does and they've gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it's great!," she said, laughing. "To be honest with you, I think it's great! Except they could have a better looking outfit for her…We could have done our own costume. I mean that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair. At least give her some better clothes. You've got to enjoy life. Life's too short. I can't get too upset about that kind of stuff." Full story here via Instinct Magazine!
Happy Birthday Ryan Phillippe!!!
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
If there was a hunk hall of fame (not to mention butt), Ryan Phillippe would be at or near the top. Beginning with his role as gay teen Billy Douglass on 'One Life To Live', Ryan made the rounds of TV shows until his break in the 1996 flick 'White Squall'.
A series of great roles followed with him really hitting it big with the hat trick of 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', '54' and 'Cruel Intentions' in 1997, 1998 and 1999.
These three films cemented Phillippe as one of the movies most popular new actors. Ryan has since been able to choose roles which really showcase his acting abilities and with 'Flags Of Our Fathers', 'Breach' and 'Stop-Loss' more recently, is one of Hollywood's hardest working actors. Phillippe has never seemed to shy totally away from the sex symbol image either which is refreshing. He seems well aware of his appeal without being arrogant about it.
Ryan has a HUGE gay following and also seems to welcome this attention. My favorite films include Crash, Gosford Park and Igby Goes Down. I also have a soft spot for 54, which although hated by critics hit a cord in me. It reminded me very much of Saturday Night Fever with the coming of age of a guy in the big city. I like to rewatch 54 every now and then, and besides continual enjoyment of his nude scenes, there is something great about his performance which I connect with. Naive, yet at the same time fully aware to what is happening to him. Those eyes of his expressing excitement through pain also always get me. Not only one of the best looking men in Hollywood, but also Ryan has grown into one of the most talented. Happy 41st Ryan!

September 10th is (World) Suicide Prevention Day
World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is an awareness day observed on 10 September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world. The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), collaborates with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Federation for Mental Health, to host World Suicide Prevention Day. In 2011 an estimated 40 countries held awareness events to mark the occasion. The United Nations issued 'National Policy for Suicide Prevention' in the 1990s which some countries use as a basis for their suicide policies.
Suicide has a number of complex and interrelated and underlying contributing factors ... that can contribute to the feelings of pain and hopelessness. Having access to means to kill oneself – most typically firearms, medicines and poisons – is also a risk factor.

Super hot Justin Bruening, currently starring on the new version of 'Knight Rider' began his acting journey playing Jamie Martin on ABC'S 'All My Children'. Justin won a Soap Opera Digest for his role on the soap and IMO should be making feature films or on another night time show. His acting talents, not to mention good looks deserve better than KR.
