Classic Television - Prime Time

The David Steinberg Show
Original Network
CBS
Original  Run
Summer 1971
Years before "The Larry Sanders Show" came this Canadian-made sitcom taking place behind the scenes of the fictional "David Steinberg Show," starring real-life comic David Steinberg. Like the later Garry Shandling series, the show alternates between backstage antics and big-name guest stars on stage. The series is best remembered for co-starring many later comic powerhouses such as John Candy, Martin Short and Dave Thomas, years before they did "SCTV."

May 7th is Occupational Safety & Health Day

Each and every day, men and women from around the world return home from work to their families injury and illness free thanks to occupational safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professionals, who have dedicated their careers to protecting people, property and the environment.

SH&E professionals work behind the scenes identifying and eliminating potential hazards in workplaces around the world, and their efforts are often achieved with little or no fanfare.

In an effort to recognize and to celebrate the lifesaving efforts of the thousands of SH&E professionals in the U.S. today, the American Society of Safety Engineers established Occupational Safety and Health Professional (OSHP) Day in 2006 to give these unsung heroes some much deserved recognition for the difference they make in the lives of every working man and woman.

Held every year during North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH, May 4th-10th, 2014) Week during the first full week of May, OSHP Day will take place this year on May 7th. On this day we encourage employers, co-workers, and the general public to say “thank you” to those who spend work around the clock making sure that every day spent on the job is a safe one.

OSHP Day was also established to raise awareness and pride in the SH&E profession, and to salute the years of education, training and practical experience and skills that it takes to be qualified to identify workplace hazards, and to develop methods of prevention of on-the-job injuries, illness and property damage. Throughout the world, the SH&E profession has earned a reputation as being one of the most challenging and rewarding careers today!

Are These the Best Pits in Gay Porn?
From: Queer Click
Our arduous quest to uncover the best pits in gay porn continues, but wouldn't you know -- we're loving every minute of it. One of Queerclick's favorite behemoths is Jaxton Wheeler, originally appearing as king stud Valentino at Chaos Men, then back to his original name for a few vids at Randy Blue. We hadn't seen a lot of Jaxton until recently, when he made a reappearance at The Guy Site, with a brand new, slimmed down appearance that set tongues wagging.

If your go-to jack off fantasy is getting between the legs of a massive, swarthy, sweaty dude who's just sunk a couple of beers and could really go a blowjob, then this classic scene with Braden doing just that with Jaxton at Randy Blue will probably keep you happy for the rest of your life:

Or maybe you prefer to watch said muscle stud take it in the ass doggie style, big arms holding him up like King Kong, pits getting sweatier by the second and on full view to the lucky fucker, in this case Taylor at Chaos Men:

Exhibit B, with Caleb at Randy Blue:

Speaking of Taylor, he has some damn fine pits as well. What is it with Chaos Men and guys with the best pits, who love kicking back and getting blown? Maybe that's for another blog post.
The jury's out on Jaxton's new look, at The Guy Site. What do you think:

Fear not, as images from Jaxton's beefier, fireman-from-Chicago days are all preserved over at Chaos Men. I mean, honestly:

Oh, and apropos of nothing, Jaxton is now doing showercams, like this one with Ty Roderick:

May 7th is National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy

Hundreds of thousands of teens nationwide are expected to participate in the thirteenth annual National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy on May 7, 2014. The purpose of the National Day is straightforward. Too many teens still think “It can’t happen to me.” The National Day helps teens understand that it can happen to them and that they need to think seriously about what they would do in the moment.

On the National Day, and throughout the entire month of May, teens will be invited to visit The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy’s teen website—StayTeen. org—to participate in our online National Day Quiz, which challenges them to think carefully about what they might do "in the moment" through a series of interactive scenarios.

May 7th is the GREAT AMERICAN GRUMP OUT

The Grump Out asked sour pusses to suck it up and refrain from getting their grump on -- at least for 24 hours.

That included no grumping, no frowning, no grousing, complaining, punching, slapping, hitting or killing. FOR ONE WHOLE DAY.

Jonny Wilkinson's Bulge

From: Queer Click
Jonny Wilkinson, a fly-half for England Rugby Union and one of the most famous players in international professional rugby, was catapulted to stardom when his drop goal during extra time won England the World Cup in 2003. Wilkinson made his debut in 1998, joining the Newcastle Falcons (his local club) and England Rugby Union. On the field he has a reputation for accurate kicking and fierce tackling; off the field he has a reputation for practicing incessantly and avoiding publicity.

After his dramatic role in the 2003 World Cup victory, Wilkinson became a national hero in England, was named the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and awarded the Order of the British Empire. He also had neck and shoulder surgery, which kept him out of action for eight to ten months. In 2004 he released an autobiography, My World, and was named captain of England's team.

Jonathan Peter "Jonny" Wilkinson OBE (born 25 May 1979) is an English rugby union player and former member of the England national team. Wilkinson rose to acclaim from 2001 to 2003 before and during the 2003 Rugby World Cup and was acknowledged as one of the world's best rugby union players.
